Here are some of the tips that help to do grouting easily.

Prepare Joints

First, you need to clean the joints between the tiles. It would help if you scraped anything present between the tiles. Do it with a stiff knife and start by vacuuming for tiles so that there is no dirt and debris left on the tiles.

Now, apply the tape to trim tiles from the edges. Apply tape will help you to grout in the perfect direction. Lastly, push the entire muck back between the tile’s joints.

Mix Grout till It Gets Powder Free

Now take the grout and fill the margin trowel till all the powder gets dissolved. Make sure to roll the bucket frequently when you are mixing the grout. You can scrape the mixture at the bottom to ensure that it is adequately mixed. Keep mixing until all the powder is mixed and achieve a paste-like consistency.

Load The Grout Float and Spread

Now, drag a small amount of grout on the slope and then scoop it in a downward direction. Push the float tightly against the bucket side and take a dollop of the grout. Start spreading the grout diagonally, and make sure to grout the wall first and then upward.

Clean Excess Grout

Once you finish grouting, remove all the bulk grout in a twisting motion. And This will help to distribute the grout efficiently and prevent floating of the grout from the edges. Hold the float at a sharp angle and scrape excess grout from the tiles.

Sponge Grouted Surfaces

Last but not least, when you did grouting. Sponge the surface diagonally across the tiles. Make sure to rinse the sponge before you use it on the tiles. Use your index finger to depress the sponge but not push it harder. Sponging helps to give a perfect finish.

Buff Out the Haze

When grout dried, buff out all the haze with a cotton towel. Choose to have a lint-free microfiber towel as it helps to remove all the daze effortlessly.
